Karmaveer Chakra Awards
The Karmaveer Chakra Awards are the most credible and coveted global civilian honours, instituted by iCONGO in partnership with the UN (United Nations). The Karmaveer awards are announced annually on 26/11 which is celebrated as the CITIZEN ACTION PLEDGE DAY by all of us in the REX Karmaveer Global Fellowship. The Karmaveer Chakra Awards are given in three categories: Karmaveer Chakra GOLD (for exceptional, distinguished and most outstanding service to champion change and make a difference or help change archaic – outdated and narrow-minded – mindsets in our society and world), Karmaveer Chakra SILVER (exceptional and distinguished service of higher order to champion change and make a difference or help change archaic – outdated and narrow-minded – mindsets in our society and world) and Karmaveer Chakra BRONZE (distinguished service to champion change and make a difference or help change archaic – outdated and narrow-minded – mindsets in our society and world).
The inclusive, unparalleled and egalitarian Karmaveer Chakra awards seeks to recognize achievements in all fields of activities or disciplines, by people from all walks of life and from around the world, for being champions of change, who make a difference or help change archaic – outdated and narrow-minded – mindsets in our society and world. The Karmaveer Chakra awards are given to people who an element of public service and proactive citizenship fulfilled through their simple but significant ideas for action.
The Karmaveer Chakra Awards are conferred on the recommendations made by the REX Karmaveer Council of Fellows, constituted by the REX Karmaveer Global Fellows. The nomination process is open to the public. Even self-nomination can be made but will be accepted at the discretion of the Council of Fellows.
Karmaveer Puraskaar awards
The Karmaveer Puraskaar awards are the utmost credible and coveted awards in the Karmaveer awards hierarchy and are only given to REX Karmaveer Global Fellows, who have been awarded the Karmaveer Chakra in the past. Only few make the cut for the Karmaveer Puraskaar awards purely by virtue of their continuing work to be the change and make a difference.

The Dr. Verghese Kurien ONE vision to make a difference in our world Karmaveer Puraskaar award is given to 2 REX Karmaveer Fellows (one male and female every year) from the current cadre of Fellows, in the subsequent year for the compelling work during the year to make a difference in our world with single-minded focus and vision.
- All persons without distinction of race, occupation, position, religion, caste or sex (Including people from the LGBT community) are eligible for these awards.
- The award seeks to recognize works of distinction and is given for distinguished and exceptional achievements/service in all fields of activities/disciplines.
- The award is normally not conferred posthumously. However, in highly deserving and compelling cases, the REX Karmaveer Global Fellowship council could consider giving an award posthumously.
- The awards are presented every year where the awardees are presented a Citation signed by the REX Karmaveer Global Fellowship Founder and Chief Curator alongwith a medallion.
- The recipients may wear the medallion during any ceremonial/official functions etc., if the awardees so desire. The names of the awardees are published on the website after the presentation of awards ceremony.
- The award may be used as a title and can be used as a suffix or prefix to the award recipients name (e.g) Karmaveer Chakra Silver. Anil Singh or Karmaveer Puraskaar Mamoon Akhtar.
